For those of you interested in the cutting edge of the Web 2.0 movement, check out the Web 2.0 Awards from SEOmoz.org. It provides a pretty good cross section of the types of solutions out there.

My gut tells me that this is just the tip of the iceberg. With the rampant availability of high speed bandwidth and the current maturity of web technologies, the conditions are right for a mass migration of applications to the net. This list is just the most recent list of immigrants.
